Movement & Fitness club, established in 2019 by Wilson da Silva, started a new chapter of his career in Killarney.
Wilson da Silva has been training martial arts for already 25 years – his career first started with Capoeira, and then, with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He travelled all around Brazil and Europe teaching children and adults Capoeira, as well as did volunteer work, and then decided to teach these martial arts in Killarney.
“People come to Movement & Fitness club with a different mindset, with different goals – some want to learn how to fight, some people want to get fit. It is a teamwork. I think Jiu-Jitsu connects people because of the respect. There is no trash-talking, people are here for the same reason, for training and improving themselves as an athlete,” says Wilson.
We hope our promotional video spreads the philosophy of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Capoeira martial arts, which help people not only to learn self-defence but also to gain self-esteem and self-confidence.
“When you know that you are capable of coping with stress and frustration in the gym, the magic happens in real life, and all your problems seem small,” says the founder of the Movement & Fitness club.
This club connects people. People who exercise are happy!
